Luncheon Club

The Horningsham Luncheon Club was started in 1982 and has been running successfully every Thursday in the Village Hall with the help of volunteer cooks, helpers in the kitchen and waiting on tables.  For the princely sum of £2.50 the members enjoy a main course, pudding and a cup of tea.

The club was founded for the older generation of Horningsham so they could enjoy a good lunch and companionship. Nowadays the members come from the surrounding area and most have connection to Horningsham.

We are always looking for cooks and helpers to keep the Luncheon Club thriving. If anyone is willing to help cook or wait on tables please get in touch and I will put you on the rota. The more volunteers we have the less times you would be required to help.

Village Hall

The village hall is set amongst the beautiful rolling valleys of the Wiltshire countryside. We boast Lords and Ladies on our doorstop along with a fantastic array of wild animals at one of Britain's biggest and best safari parks - Longleat. Lord Bath (the owner of Longleat Safari Park and Horningsham Village) supports the local hall and is often seen at our annual village fayre. Although the hall is set in the village, the hall is welcoming to all who visit.
The hall itself is a beautiful building looking out onto the sports field (also for hire) and is perfect for a wedding reception, christening or any type of party. Although the hall is well established the modern facilities inside, allow any function to take place stress free and as it is suitably decorated, it invites you to fill a blank canvas however it suits you and your personal needs.
One wedding booking described the hall as follows: "Using Horningsham Village Hall was like booking a slice of the old-time countryside with a twist of modern facilities. The views alone made our wedding pictures a delight to display and gave us imemories we will cherish"

The main hall is our largest room with a large stage to the rear (with a PA unit available). All tables and chairs are available for 100 people and included in the price and can be set up to your own personal taste. The room has a clean wooden floor perfect for dancing or yoga and able to seat 100 or 160 standing.
