The Parish Council also plays a role in influencing decisions and advocating for the needs and interests of the village. Through active engagement with residents and fostering community participation, it ensures that the voices of the public are heard and considered in  Wiltshire Council’s decisions. Furthermore, the council organises public meetings, forums, and surveys to gather feedback and understand the priorities of the community, thereby fostering a 
collaborative and inclusive approach to governance.
