Horningsham is a small village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England, on the county border with Somerset. The village lies about 4 miles (6 km) southwest of the town of Warminster and 4.5 miles (7 km) southeast of Frome, Somerset. The parish forms part of the Longleat Estate and includes the hamlets of Hitcombe Bottom and Newbury.

Horningsham enters written history with the Domesday Book in 1086, though the village was certainly inhabited and already called Horningsham in Saxon times. There is also
archaeological evidence of Iron Age and Roman settlements nearby. Roll forward nearly a 1000 years. The village still has a thriving primary school, a busy pub, an active Village Hall, a Cricket Club, monthly services in the Methodist Chapel, and a full calendar of village social events throughout the year,
including a popular traditional Village Fayre every June.
