Roaring into Summer, our Motor Show Weekender will celebrate not only years of
motoring history, but also 60 years of our iconic Safari Park opening its doors for the
first time. Enjoy a stunning showcase of motoring excellence, bringing together early
pre-war icons to high performance supercars.
As part of this exciting weekend, rally car demonstrations will
include test drives on the route opposite for 30 minutes
maximum at these times:
12:00 – 12:30
14:00 – 14:30
16:00 – 16:30
These test drives are safely and thoroughly organised, well
marshalled and have a limit of one car every five minutes during
each session.
Test drives will adhere to all road safety requirements, including public
speed limits.
Test drive times are subject to change in the lead up to the event if event planning
deems it necessary, but they will take place no earlier than 11:00 and no later than
17:00.
Due to the nature of this event and the route the test drives take, the two cycle routes
(24 and 25) through Longleat Safari Park and Ladies Bridge will also be closed during
the event’s open hours 10:00 – 18:00 on 27 – 28 June.

Built between 1567 and 1580, Longleat House is one of the finest examples of Elizabethan architecture, and one of the first stately homes in Britain to open its doors to the public back in 1949. 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of the opening of the safari park. Longleat would like to see your photos and footage from the last 60 years. If you have any that you would like to share you can send them to communications@longleat.co.uk
