Oaks at 80
The Great Western Community Forest provided funding for the parish council to buy an oak tree to create a long-lasting commemoration to mark the end of World War II.
The tree was planted in the orchard on 4th March by the head boy and head girl from Horningsham Primary School. They were joined by children from Robins and Owls classes, members of the parish council, the headteacher, Mrs Odele Lapham, and Mrs Diane Perrett, teaching partner.
